Hi kichik,<BR> | |||
I just created a page that would be helpful to new users who simply want to know how to start out creating a setup. I know that is what the docs, faq, wiki, and forum is for but this is a little different. It is a real-world installer that lists the thinking process that went into creating it. I think it will help users to get into the mindset of using NSIS. At the end of each section I list all of my sources in the wiki/examples/docs that were used so the user can go check it out.

Just thought I'd bring that page to your attention for when you get those general questions on the forum of "how do I program in NSIS?" you could link them to that page as a resource if you wish rather than simply replying read docs.

:Thanks, I'll keep it in mind. I'd hope the tutorial would do that for most, but that's indeed a nice page to redirect beginners to. BTW, I edited the links a bit so they'll still be valid when the site moves and to avoid the underscores. --[[User:Kichik|kichik]] 09:38, 18 August 2007 (PDT)
