Error Launching Installer

If you are seeing this error message, it is possible that there is a permission error occurring.

Windows 7

1. While the error message is displayed,
2. open Task Manager (ctrl-alt-del).
3. Click on the Applications tab,
4. select the NSIS Error task, and right-click on it.
5. Click 'Go To Process'. The Process tab will be displayed with the process that is generating the error highlighted.
6. Make note of the user listed in the User Name column.
7. Right-click on the process, and select 'Open File Location'. File Explorer will open with the installer executable highlighted.
8. Switch back to Task Manager,
   • right-click on the highlighted process,
   • and select 'End Process'.
9. If you recognize the file and want to complete the installation:
   • Switch to the File Explorer window,
   • right-click on the highlighted file,
   • and select 'Run as administrator'.
